As the Vice-Chancellor commences a second term of office in 2023, she reflects on the highlights and challenges experienced over the past five years, while also looking into the future to consolidate the gains we have made as a university in the service of society.
VC's Reflective Engagement Address
The Vice-Chancellors’ Advancing Mandela event was held on 29 March 2023 and live-streamed on our YouTube channel. Staff, students and alumni were invited to listen to the VC. The Chancellor, Dr Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi, the Chair of Council, Ambassador Nosipho January-Bardill as well as the voices of students, staff, university institutional bodies and alumni formed part of the event.
