COVID-19 positive? We are here to support you

27/07/2020

Whether you are on or off campus, as a Nelson Mandela University student, we are here to support you, especially if you have tested positive for COVID-19.

As health professionals, we have the expertise to assist you as you journey towards recovery. But we need to know who you are to be able to help you.

Regular contact

We are in regular telephonic or email contact with those students who have returned to campus and who have either tested positive for the contagious respiratory and vascular illness or who are in quarantine as a person under investigation.

We also wish to be of service to those who are isolating at home because of their positive result.

Sharing of status information

Please contact us if you are positive so that we can assist you and also update our own data base. The latter is strictly confidential.

However, there is no shame in having contracted COVID-19 for, as we have witnessed, the virus knows no boundaries as it has travelled across all countries impacting all people, regardless of who they are.
