The ECS has approved the attached Revised Academic Calendar for 2020, at a special meeting held on 29 July 2020. The Calendar has largely been premised on the blended learning approach adopted by the University for the remainder of the year, as well as guided by both national health directives and those of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

This Revised Academic Calendar must be taken as a broad framework for faculties to work within. Faculties and Academic Departments will communicate with their respective students regarding the specifics of the Revised Academic Calendar and how it will unfold in their programmes. Students are encouraged to look out for the Faculty and Academic Department communications.

Every effort will be made by Faculties to restructure the academic year to ensure that all the requirements for the completion of the Revised Academic Year are fully complied with.
