Syllabus

PURPOSE
To equip students with a sound knowledge of the process and techniques for corporate financial planning; covering the broad financial planning areas of employee benefits planning, health care planning, interpretation of financial statements for business enterprises and business assurance planning.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • After completion of the module, students will be able to read and to interpret the financial statements of all forms of enterprise.
  • Students will be able to plan financially according to the analyses made of financial statements for the insurance needs of enterprises and for the financial implications of employee benefit schemes.
  • Students will be able to plan for the healthcare requirements of a business enterprise.
  • Students will be able to plan for the business assurance needs of a business enterprise.
