Syllabus

PURPOSE

To equip students with the knowledge and competence to conduct business-related research under supervision.

NOTE: This module is offered online in either Semester 1 or Semester 2.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students will be able to:
• Prepare a research design for specific business-related research problems;
• Collect primary and/or secondary data for specific business-related research problems;
• Present and conduct responsible research;
• Design a measuring instrument(s) to collect primary data;
• Reflect critically on ethical issues, and the reliability and validity or research projects;
• Select and motivate a target population for a business-related research project;
• Present research data, findings and conclusions;
• Prepare a research proposal for a business-related topic.
