A Personal Pilgrimage over Time
In this paper, presented at The Tributaries
Project Colloquium (Nov 20), Dr Snow aligns
her presentation with the idea of a water
pilgrimage. The presentation, details a
collection of water journeys, travelled in the
past, to be continued in the present, and still
to be travelled in the future. As she explains
it, the three kinds of journeys are gathered
together “in what I think of as my own
personal pilgrimage over time.” She adds
that: ”In the presentation I detail my
constant engagement with water as I
travelled the multiple journeys along the
path of a career that led to my current
position as Director of the Institute for
Coastal and Marine Research (CMR).”
