TRANSFORMATION

             INSTITUTIONAL


             IMPLEMENTATION AND

             ACCOUNTABILITY MODEL




             Executive Management Committee, MANCO, together with extended MANCO (EManco), are responsible for driving and
             cascading the ITP within the University. Implementation and progress relating thereto are provided to Council by the Vice-
             Chancellor.

             In 2021, Council approved the Transformation Report 2018 – 2020, which provided an overview of the first three years of
             ITP implementation. Council is provided with quarterly thematic reports by the Vice-Chancellor, with the third quarter being
             dedicated to Transformation within the University. The Vice-Chancellor’s reports are compiled from submissions made by the
             various MANCO portfolios.

             METHODOLOGY




             This report was compiled, amongst others, from the following institutional sources:
             •       Direct submissions received from the MANCO portfolios relating to their specific ITP objectives for 2021

             •       2021 Quarterly Vice-Chancellor’s Reports to Council
             •       2021 Quarter 3 Transformation MANCO portfolio reports
             •       2021 Council-approved Employment Equity Report
             •       2021 Research Outputs Report

             MANCO portfolios were provided with an opportunity to give further inputs into the draft report, after which all inputs
             received were integrated into the draft report. The completed draft report was then submitted to the office of the DVC ETP
             for final inputs, after which the report underwent editorial, layout, and graphic design modifications to finalise the report.
