play a supporting role to Production so
communication is essential in meeting targets
and ensuring no production time is lost due to
incorrect information received etc.
How important are extracurricular activities
and leadership roles in assessing a recent
graduate’s employability?
Very important. Having played team sports
gives you an edge due to being a team player,
you are also well versed in dealing with different
personalities everyday where some players
believe in being shouted at before the perform,
some go into their shell if you do etc. so you
learn to navigate the working environment
easily with such skills and are able to gauge the
other person accordingly when dealing with
them and this will give you optimal results.
