Welcome message from the Campus Senior Director, Ms Sharon Masiza
Welcome to Missionvale Campus, one of the seven campuses of Nelson Mandela University situated alongside Johnson Road in the Missionvale area in Gqeberha. The campus is conveniently accessible to communities such as Zwide, Zinyoka, and New Brighton.
Our Campus is situated in one of the Bay's most economically disadvantaged areas, and as such, we are dedicated to working collaboratively with the local community through our community engagement initiatives. These efforts are guided by our Vision 2030 policy, which outlines our strategic direction for the future. This campus is home to six community engagement programs: Law Clinic, Stem in Action, Psychology Clinic, Centre for Community Schools, Centre for Integrated Post-School Education and Training (CIPSET), and Aquaponics.
By engaging with the community, we strive to create meaningful partnerships that will lead to positive outcomes for all involved. We are committed to fostering a sense of shared responsibility and working towards a brighter future for the Bay and beyond.
The academic courses offered on this Campus are from the Faculty of Education (foundation phase), the faculty of Health (Health Sciences, Medical School, Emergency Medical Care and Bachelor of Nursing extended), and the Faculty of Law (Higher Certificate in Criminal Justice and Diploma in Law Enforcement)
