Call for staff and students to take COVID-19 seriously

05/05/2021

Stay vigilant and stay home if you experience two or more COVID-19 symptoms.

That’s the message from the university’s clinics, which have experienced an upsurge in visits from colleagues with flu-like symptoms this week.

When experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, staff and students are advised to phone their medical doctor or phone the Occupation Health Services (041 504 1003) or the Student Health Services clinic (041 504 4323) for advice on the way forward.

By visiting the on-campus facilities when you could unwittingly be carrying the virus, unnecessarily jeopardises the welfare of others.
