This new series of cartoons, developed by Arts, Culture and Heritage, is intent on driving changed behaviour to save lives as part of Nelson Mandela University’s #itisinyourhands and #MaskUpMandela campaigns.

With the practice of preventative measures being our best form of defence against the virus, the cartoons – in English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans – will share the consequences of positive changed behaviours to create awareness and  educate readers.

The cartoon will be shared on our all social media platforms over the next few months to enable ongoing sharing and learning in how each of us can play his or her part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. They will also be housed on our #MaskUpMandela website.
