Sexual Harassment and Sexual Offenses Policy

Nelson Mandela University is committed to uphold the principles enshrined in Chapter 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa (1996), which promotes the rights of all people of South Africa and affirms the democratic values of human dignity, equality, and freedom. The University strives to create an environment where all employees and students can safely pursue their work, studies, business transactions and social interactions, free from sexual harassment and sexual offences. Sexual harassment and sexual offences constitute very serious offences, which will result in disciplinary action, and will not be tolerated within the University.
