Physiologist

Human physiology explores the relationship between structure and function, the complexity of bodily processes and the regulation thereof. The study of Physiology prepares students for careers in education, research and development in the scientific and health-related industries and is integral in the training of all health care professionals.


Available Qualifications:

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum NSC statutory requirements for degree entry must be met.
  • An applicant with NSC Grade 12 Mathematics requires a minimum Applicant Score of 410.
  • NSC achievement rating of at least 60% for Mathematics.
 

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum NSC statutory requirements for degree entry must be met. 
  • An applicant with NSC Grade 12 Mathematics requires a minimum Applicant Score of 370.
  • NSC achievement rating of at least 50% for Mathematics.
 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The entrance qualification for the Honours degree in Physiology is a Bachelor’s degree with Physiology as a major subject. Candidates who have not obtained an average of at least 60% in this major subject will only be admitted to the Honours programme with the special permission of the Department, and on such conditions as may be determined by the Department. Any equivalent NQF 7 qualification or RPL as approved by the departmental selection committee.
